Behold, Our God! 3

Great is Your Wisdom

  • So that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. Ephesians 3:10
  • Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!  For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? Or who has first given to Him that it might be paid back to Him again? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen. Romans 11:33-36
  • But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits. James 3:17
  • In Your wisdom, You not only know everything, but You act wisely in all matters; including all matters regarding me. Your wisdom leads to Your perfect decisions every time. I don’t have to worry that my providence is left to chance; that I may be forgotten; that I am a victim of random circumstances; that I am on my own. In Your wisdom, you not only know what is best for me but you apply it to my life in perfect harmony; orchestrated with perfect timing, tempo and pitch. It is well with my soul because You apply Your perfect wisdom to my life. Amen!

Great is Your Strength

  • Say to the cities of Judah, HERE IS YOUR GOD! Behold, the Lord God will come with might, with His arm ruling for Him. Isaiah 40:9,10
  • To whom then will you liken Me that I could be his equal? Says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see Who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing. Isaiah 40:25,26
  • Then Job answered the Lord and said, ‘I know that You can do all things, and that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted… Hear now and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct me. Job 42:1-4
  • Do you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might, He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:28-31
  • Father, because of the might of Your strength, You are able to bring it to pass. You take all of Your love toward me which desires good for me; You take all of Your wisdom which knows best for me; You take all of Your precious thoughts toward me, and in your STRENGTH You make it HAPPEN! You are mighty to love; mighty to give; mighty to save. Amen!
